We love you Bubby.
Dedicated by your loving
human Daddy & Mummy
Your golden heart stopped beating.
Sparkling eyes at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
that He only takes the best.
If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane
We'd walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again.

"BUBBY"
Time has passed since we lost our mate,
We still remember the time and date.
His saddened eyes showed a sign of relief
As he passed into his final sleep.
He gave us endless kisses and hugs
And loved to curl up in his warm blue rugs.
He played and ran — oh, what a joy
And he knew the names of every toy.
He had a wife, her name was Daisy,
Sweet and gentle ... even a little crazy,
She passed away some years before,
Hopefully they are together once more.
Our hearts are broken and they won’t heal
Life has dealt us one cruel deal!
Perhaps in time, if it’s not too late
We might be blessed with another mate

An Australian
Champion, Spike titled as a puppy. He was a Best Exhibit In Show and R/U Best Exhibit in Show (All Breeds
Championship shows) winner and multi Best Exhibit in Group winner. We
had him desexed when he was only 38 points off his Grand Champion title.
It was not important to us. In our eyes, he was the GRANDEST CHAMPION!
Spike had never ever had a sick day in his life, until he acquired
IMTP (Immune - Mediated Thrombocytopenia) in the last few weeks of his life.
A large tumour (haemangioma or haemangiosarcoma - tumours derived from blood vessel cells)
then developed on his right shoulder.
Our sincere thanks to Dr Steven Metcalfe of Applecross Veterinary Hospital,
in Perth, Western Australia, for his efforts to heal our little man and
to ease his pain. Thank you Steve for genuinely caring. |
